Reflection Week 1

Assignment 1:

Creating a Blog, Yahoo Group account,creating Gmail & Official Facebook

                           

These are the steps involved to create a blog:

Ø     Go to the website at www.blogger.com

Ø     Click on the button "Create a blog"

Ø     Register using our Gmail account (insert username and password). 

Ø     Verify the blog registration through Gmail.

  These are the steps involved to create a yahoo group:

                   Sign in to our Yahoo Account (email).

                   Go to the Yahoo Group home page - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ 

                   Click on the "Start your group".

              Invite our friends and lecturers through their email addresses.

In order to join the yahoo group, you should:

v    Log in to the Yahoo Group account: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ge1155ipg2011

v    Click "Join".

v    Validate the procedures.

v    Note: We must introduce ourselves to the administrator of the Yahoo Group.

These are the steps involved to create a facebook group account:

ü     Log in to our official Facebook Account.

ü     Click "Create a group".

ü     Name our Group. 

ü     Add our friends and lecturers.

ü     Click "Create" to end up the step.

ü     Reset the group's privacy setting from "Open" to "Restricted".

These are the steps involved to create an official facebook account:

                   Go to www.facebook.com

                   Fill in the information in the "Sign In" section.

                   Follow the procedures step by step.

                   Verify our Facebook registration through our email address.

                   After that, click "Account"

                   Click on "Account Info" to register for an official Facebook URL

                   Edit our username. 

                   Save the changes.

                   Search for friends (enter their profile name or email address).

                   Add them as "Friends".

Creating a Gmail account:

·                     Go to www.google.com 

·                     Click "Gmail".

·                     Click "Create an account".

·                     Fill up the required details.

·                     Verify our Gmail through our alternate email account.

 Creating a signature (Gmail):

ü     After verifying our Gmail account, click "Setting". 

ü     Go to "Signature".

ü     Add in our details. 

ü     Save the changes.
